About KIC Leukemia

KIC Leukemia was founded In March of 2008, as a living memorial to Kari Imhoff-Crewe.  Kari was diagnosed with leukemia in late February of 2007 and passed away six months later after fighting a heroic battle against this horrible disease.

KIC Leukemia’s goals are simple, and were designed based on ideas and observations provided by Kari during her battle:

To Raise awareness of Leukemia’s symptoms and treatments

To Raise awareness of the need for potential marrow donors for those fighting leukemia, lymphoma and other life threatening illnesses.

To actively recruit new marrow donors to the National Marrow Donor Registry

And to provide support to those who are battling leukemia

Our hope is that you will use the information provided on this site as a launching point to take action, to help others who are suffering from this terrible disease.
